it’s time for my #truthfultuesday 💛
When I was younger i had a lot of people I talked to and I always wanted to be there for them if they were ever going through any emotional struggles or drama. I’ve always cared a lot about my friends, and family. Something I’ve realized though is that I was burying a lot of my own struggles and emotions, being there for the them was easier then being alone with myself. Theirs definitely some toxic masculinity in that too, “Not asking for help” and “Thinking I can handle everything myself”, but I’ll get in to that on another Tuesday 🤷🏼♂️ If you have a friend you like talking to who reaches out and asks how you’re doing, just remember to check in on them once in while too✌🏻😉 I’ll stop here for now 💛
