"no relationship is perfect"
Oh it’s time for my #truthfultuesday 🧐
So I feel like I’m running out of things to talk about lol 😂 But let’s talk about relationships 💛 Happy to say I’ve been with my partner for 5 years now. We have our challenges, but we always rise to the occasion. We’re always looking for ways to improve ourselves and to help each other feel more comfortable. Communication and openness helps us fully respect and see each other as individuals. Our constant ambition to grow together and learn from each other helps us know we are on the same team. We try to call it out if one of us is being micromanaging, or making jokes that have passive aggressive undertones, because if left unchecked these things can become hurtful and create a lot of unnecessary tension. Obviously there’s more I can say on this, but I’ll stop here for now 🙂
